Budget cuts 'to have effect on Norfolk roads'
Highways across Norfolk may suffer from a drop in quality due to a cut in funding from the government, according to a news source in the area.
According to the Norwich Evening News, officials will be reducing the amount being spent on roads in the region by £7.7 million.
This could mean that motorists are more likely to be involved in accidents, causing them to put their bike insurance policies in jeopardy.
With the same news source reporting that the number of people without cover in Norfolk has gone up by 1,000 in the past six years, motorists could be doubly in danger of being hit in the pocket due to this.

And this is a very serious issue for all concerned, commented Cabinet member for planning and transportation at Norfolk County Council Adrian Gun.
"This could have a really serious impact. A £2.5m drop each year would mean less money for resurfacing the main roads and obviously more pot holes developing," said the official.
Across the UK, there were some 3,150 deaths on the road in 2006, compared to 3,201 in 2005, according to Department for Transport figures.
