Council announces roadworks changes
Council officials in Peterborough have announced changes to roadworks plans for the area, it has been reported.
According to Peterborough Today, this follows on from last week's completion of work on London Road.
The street was reopened as a two-way lane after undergoing maintenance.
Oundle Road will also be available as a two-lane area to the public from today, as workers have finished work in the region, it added.
This may be particularly good news for bike insurance customers, who may have otherwise had to risk their policies by using alternative routes.

However, the work in the area is far from over and further complications may lie ahead for motorists.
This is because officials have warned that Pearce's Road will eventually need to have some work done.
"Pearce's Road needs extensive reconstruction because the heavy volume of traffic using the route has caused substantial damage. The situation will be reviewed at the end of the month," said a spokesman.
This comes as the Dorset Echo has reported that there will be more roadworks forthcoming in Poole.
From today, the A351 which goes through Purbeck will be closed to drivers for six weeks.
