Early morning blitz catches Oxford speeders
An early morning start for police in one Oxfordshire town saw the force crack down on those breaking the speed limit, according to a local news source.
Officers caught out 42 motorists over the 30 mph speed limit in Wroxton between 08:00 BST and 10:00 BST on Wednesday, the Oxford Mail has reported.
A driver with a senior car insurance policy picking up a motoring conviction may find that they have trouble getting a cheaper policy in the future, as it may be that cover companies consider them to be a risk on the roads, thusly upping the cost.

The important thing to remember, according to PC Mark Pilling from Abingdon Road Policing Department, is that drivers know that police will be coming down hard on them.
"We want to be seen doing this by motorists. Hopefully, today's event will make people think about the way they drive through the village and make them slow down in future," the officer said.
Earlier this week, the same newspaper reported that drivers may experience difficulty with slippery roads in the region following overnight flooding.
