Britain's second-hand vehicle bill revealed
New statistics have outlined the amount of money people in the UK are spending in the used vehicle market.
According to figures from Sainsbury's Car Loans, Britons spent £22.23 billion on second-hand automobiles from March to August 2007.

Indeed, it may be that the right vehicle can result in people reducing their outgoings in relation to road tax and bike insurance.
This could be because some motorbikes are less costly to repair than others, while some may simply be safer.
He said: "Despite the fact that haggling can save the buyer hundreds or even thousands of pounds, many of us are reluctant to do this."
The amount of money being spent by Britons was recently underlined by money charity Credit Action.
According to the organisation, the UK currently has a combined total personal debt of more than £1.3 trillion.
