Norfolk drink-driving campaign nets 114
Police officers in Norfolk arrested 114 motorists in the region as part of its Christmas crackdown on drinking and driving, a local news source reports.
The Norfolk Eastern Daily Press states that officials tested 4,514 people and convicted those who either failed or refused to be assessed.
Motorists who suffered such punishment may now find it increasingly unlikely that they pick up a cheap bike insurance policy.
This is because cover firms may view their actions indicative of a dangerous road user.

Similarly, they may also find that they pick up a fine, penalty points on their licence or even time in prison.
Police Constable Michael Edney has warned people in the area that officers will not be letting up on the crime in 2008.
"The Christmas campaign may be over but motorists should remember that our enforcement will continue throughout 2008 and not just during December," the official commented.
UK law currently states that the amount of alcohol consumed by motorists looking to legally get behind the wheel must equate to 80 milligrammes per 100 millilitres of blood or under.
