North Yorkshire drivers given weather warning on roads
Motorists in North Yorkshire have been warned to stay safe on roads in the region which is currently being hit with strong weather conditions.
York Press reports that a minibus carrying nine passengers lost control and was taken off the road at 05:00 GMT on Wednesday morning.
The incident, which took place on the A166 at Fridaythorpe close to Garrowby Hill, resulted in fire crews being called out in order to free people from the wreckage- two of whom were taken to hospital with broken bones.

Such an incident can seriously compromise a driver's car or bike insurance policy, as firms may consider it an indication of a risky motorist.
The news source states that motorists should also beware black ice - appearing on roads throughout the county due to continued rain and sub-zero temperatures.
Council bosses in Sheffield are using a new method of keeping roads from being dangerous for drivers, according to 24dash.
A mixture of rock salt and molasses is being used to grit the roads in an attempt to keep people from skidding and crashing.
