Bike riders targeted in young driver clampdown
Young motorcyclists have been reminded to stay safe on roads in Goole, a local news source comments.
According to Goole Today, police officers in the region are looking to reduce the number of accidents involving motorists between the ages of 17 and 25.
It may be that should the initiative be successful, bike insurance companies choose to lower the cost of cover for young and inexperienced drivers.
The news source adds that in East Riding, there are 300 such crashes every year and PC Glen Dennis, Humberside Police casualty reduction officer, intends to do something about it.

He said: "This campaign is about offering advice to young drivers."
"If we find a motorist driving in a dangerous way or if a vehicle is unsafe we will prosecute the driver...We urge young drivers to consider taking extra training," commented the official.
Meanwhile, 24dash reports that young motorists in the region have been urged to stay safe this Valentine's Day.
The For My Girlfriend campaign has been set up by officials in Southend-on-Sea Borough Council in an effort to keep people safe, it adds.
