Warning over parking in Lancashire
Motorists in Lancashire have been reminded to park properly and leave enough space for larger vehicles to get through, it has been reported.
The Bolton News comments that a fire engine recently experienced difficulties navigating a street in Great Lever as drivers had not left room to maneuvre.
According to the news source, the officers did eventually get through and dealt with a minor fire in the area.
However, crew commander Alex Sugden has asked motorists to be more considerate when they park up in the region in future.

"We would urge people to be careful when they are parking their cars and to always think about whether a large vehicle, such as a fire engine could get down the street," said the official.
This comes after the same news source has reported on residents' dissatisfaction with large vehicles passing through the area.
It claims that people in Westhoughton have complained about wagons passing through the area and making a mess.
The vehicles are delivering materials to the local golf course, but residents state that they are dropping mud everywhere, the news source adds.
