Motorists warned not to leave vehicles to warm up
Officials in Warwickshire have warned motorists to make sure they do not fall victim to opportunistic thieves looking to take vehicles left to warm up on frosty mornings.
Those who keep their engines running in order to defrost their automobile may find that they are made the target of crime in the area, reports Banbury Today.
According to the news source, Detective Sergeant Martyn Stephens from Warwickshire Police believes that motorists in the region need to "get the message" about this.

He added that there have been numerous reports in the area of people having their automobiles stolen in such a manner.
This could have a serious effect on a car or bike insurance policy, as cover companies may view an incident as the result of negligence and charge more for deals in the future.
Meanwhile, it has been reported that officials in the region are looking to review local speed limits as part of a review of the area's road practices.
The transport project is said to be worth £1 million, according to the Coventry Telegraph.
