Initiative against bogus drivers announced
An official driving body has announced that it will be cracking down on the number of motoring instructors illegally working on British roads.
The Driving Standards Agency (DSA) states that it is to move against unauthorised highways teachers.
It adds that the best way to tell if an instructor is legitimate is to look for either a pink or green certificate on the windscreen of their vehicle.
ADI registrar Charles Morton comments that those who break the law by accepting money for illegal lessons are "a danger to the public".

It could be that this is a problem for all road users and sees them validate their car, van or motorcycle insurance policies.
This comes as the BBC states that two driving test centres in the north-west of Wales are to close.
Motorists who would normally use the Colwyn Bay and Holyhead centres will have to use the Bangor or Rhyl sites when they are assessed, the national news provider reports.
