More petrol stations 'wanted by drivers'
A greater amount of petrol stations are required by motorists in the UK, new research has found.
Car supermarket group Motorpoint has reported that as many as one in two people on the road would like to see more filling up points across the UK.
It may be that breaking down on the road due to a lack of petrol has a serious affect on a car or bike insurance policy, as drivers could find that they have to pay out for repairs or make a claim.

David Sheldon, managing director of the company, said that the issue was a "complex" one applicable to motorists in both urban and rural areas.
He said: "We know there are some areas of the UK where supply no longer exists at a local level meaning there's a real risk of some drivers running out."
This comes as petrol prices are increasing across the UK, with particular highs in Northamptonshire, a local news source has stated.
According to the Northampton Chronicle & Echo, the cost of fuel in the area is now approximately 112.9p.
