Snow warning for motorists in Scotland
Police in Scotland have warned drivers to stay safe in severe weather conditions, a national broadcaster has reported.
The BBC states that authorities in the country have told motorists to be careful when travelling on roads in Argyll, Ayrshire and Dumfires and Galloway.
Should they get involved in an accident, it may be drivers invalidate their car or bike insurance policies.
Indeed, some cover companies could view the area as a risk due to the conditions and increase costs as a result if they believe that people are taking chances by travelling on the roads.

Gail McGrane, weather forecaster at the national broadcaster, commented that the conditions are set to continue in northern regions of the country such as Aberdeenshire and Moray up until midday today.
However, the expert added that that as the day progresses, temperatures will improve across the country.
This comes as the Met Office has issued a number of weather warnings for people travelling in Scotland.
According to the national weather authority, heavy snow is expected in Strathclyde, Lothian & Borders and Central Tayside & Fife.
