Bike insurance customers could compete in endurance race
Bike insurance and a great deal of stamina are two of the things participants in an endurance race on Salisbury Plain might need.
SPAMBiking is the main organiser of the 12-hour endurance race that is set to take place from 18:00 BST on May 17th.
The 12-hour Set2Rise will take place in Erlestoke near Devizes in Wiltshire and will require participants to race along an eight-mile technical lap, with Timelaps.co.uk responsible for professional timing.
Racing is set to conclude at 06:00 the following morning, after which a breakfast presentation will take place.

Overnight camping, full first aid cover and refreshments will be provided by SPAMBiking, fellow organisers Forrick, Torq and Marin Dusk til Dawn, as well as sponsor Charge Bikes.
Bike insurance customers and other cyclists will be able to compete for prizes from a range of companies, including the likes of Avid, NiteFlux and Rock Shox.
A demo day will precede the endurance race and will feature various manufacturers displaying their goods as well as live music performances.
Potential participants are urged to move quickly in order to secure their entry, as spaces for the endurance race are limited.
According to its website, SpamBiking hosts four off-road mountain bike events each year.
