Road safety warning given to North Wales' youth
Young people at schools and colleges across North Wales have been warned about the dangers of taking risks on the road by an initiative from fire officials in the region, it has been reported.
The Daily Post has stated that 550 students from Denbighshire schools have visited the North Wales Fire and Rescue Service exhibition at Lyfasi College close to Ruthin.
On display was a mock-up of a car accident, with crash test dummies made to look like real people involved in a crash, the news source added.

It may be that those who take heed of the service's message find that they save on their car and bike insurance policies in the future.
"Schemes such as this are a great help in encouraging awareness and promoting better driving standards for young drivers," commented Sharon Frobisher from Denbigshire County Council.
In Lancashire, an 11-year-old boy has won a competition for his artwork to be displayed as part of a road safety drive, it has been reported.
Connor Such's effort will be displayed outside Heasandford Primary School in order to encourage motorists to stick to the 20 mph speed limit imposed in the area.
