Official driving rules 'tiring motorists
It is understandable that motorists are getting tired on the road considering the government's handling of highways rules, a driving body has claimed.
According to the Association of British Drivers (ABD), those travelling on roads are becoming fatigued by officials' lack of investment into traffic flow control and measures to battle congestion.
Indeed, ABD spokesperson Nigel Humphries has remarked that it may be the stress put on drivers by such behaviour that is causing them to become tired when on the road.

And if a motorist becomes fatigued to the extent that they are involved in an accident while driving, it may be that they invalidate their car or bike insurance policies in the process.
"Drivers travelling in free flowing traffic, setting their speeds to the conditions are likely to remain far more alert than those crawling along in jams or becoming automatons," Mr Humphries remarked.
This comes as the Department for Transport has launched a campaign to raise awareness of the dangers of being tired on the road.
British actor Joseph Fiennes has been enlisted to voice a series of promotional spots for the scheme.
