Motorbike riders 'face disruption due to Hampshire road closure'
Motorbike riders travelling through Hampshire may find that their journeys become compromised due to road works set to be carried out in the region, a local news source has reported.
According to the Daily Echo, a maintenance project is to result in the six-month closure of the M27 through Eastleigh, which one official has claimed will result in "absolute motoring chaos".
Councillor Chris Thomas also commented that the work could also have an affect on commerce in the region.

"It's barmy if they think they're going to complete it in December and not disrupt Christmas trade," commented the official.
And those motorists rerouted by the closure may find that they risk invalidating their bike insurance policies if they are involved in accidents due to travelling on unfamiliar roads.
This comes after police in the area earlier this month issued a warning to people in the region to stay safe in the onset of heavy rains.
According to Hampshire News, officers in the region have told people to stay vigilant in areas where there may be standing waters.
