Speeders targeted in Avon and Somerset
People travelling above the speed limit in Avon and Somerset have been targeted by police in the region, according to the local constabulary.
The force has commented that there were more than 80 motorists caught out as part of a crackdown in the area on Wednesday.
It could be that those who picked up motoring convictions have difficulty taking out a car or bike insurance policy in the future.
This is because some cover firms could decide that the road punishment is indicative of a risky road driver and increase prices in accordance.

According to PC Nick Butler, who organised the Clevedon, Kingston Seymour, Yattin and Wrington-wide initiative, reducing speeds will have a knock-on affect and cut accidents.
He said: "We believe the day was highly successful and think that motorists have taken on-board the importance of adhering to the speed limits."
Ingrid Tarrant this week avoided a driving ban after being caught travelling over the limit.
Ms Tarrant, currently separated from husband and television personality Chris Tarrant, was clocked at more than 60 mph in September last year.
