Motorists change driving habits to suit new limit
Hampshire drivers are taking notice of a new speed limit imposed in the region, according to a local news source.
Motorists travelling on Heath End Road in Baghurst are now required to travel at 30 mph rather than 40 mph and are taking to the new rule without problems, Hampshire News states.
By not taking risks on the road, it could be that drivers find that they are involved in fewer accidents and pick up cheaper motorcycle insurance deals as a result.
This is because cover firms hand out cheaper policies to motorists in areas they see as safe and less likely to experience collisions.

And the introduction of the new limit has been relayed to and acknowledged by motorists as a result, said PC Mark Smith.
"We went out with a speed gun in the first few days after the signs went up and nobody was speeding, so the signs do have an effect," said the official.
Meanwhile, mayor of London Ken Livingstone has announced his intention to bring in a 20 mph speed limit on residential roads in the city.
