Motorbike accident 'highlights need for insurance'
A Wiltshire motorbike enthusiast has emailed a local paper to explain the importance of appropriate emergency services in the region.
Andrew Miller wrote to the Gazette & Herald to explain how, following a "serious motorcycle accident on the Chippenham by-pass", the air ambulance was called to take him to hospital.
"The Air Ambulance forms a vital part of the ambulance service in Wiltshire - a county where other vehicles may have more difficulties getting access," he wrote.

Mr Miller broke both his legs and one arm in the accident - which may also highlight the need for bikers to investigate their motorbike insurance policies.
In other motorbiking news, the Daily Post reported that former Honda UK Motorcycle manager Bob McMillan has now been cleared of speeding charges.
Mr McMillan has previously been the recipient of a Prince Michael Award for developing a motorbike safety course and is an ex-patrol officer.
