'Hardcore bikers' plan charity ride
Three so-called "hardcore" bikers are planning to do a charity bike ride across the UK to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Carl Lewis and brothers Shane and John Lee hope to ride from Land's End to John O'Groats, a total of 847 miles, in just one day in order to raise £3,000 for the charity.
They chose this particular good cause after Macmillan nurses cared for John and Shane's mother Shirley, who died of cancer earlier this year.

John Lee told the Hampshire Chronicle: "We wanted to do this challenge after seeing the amount of help my mum got from Macmillan and we wanted to give something back to them."
He added that the route is the "longest you can do from A to B in Britain".
Meanwhile, motorcycle registrations were up by ten per cent in April, according to figures released by the Motor Cycle Industry Association.
Increases were seen across nearly all engine sizes and bike categories with mopeds up by 49.7 per cent and scooters up by 42.3 per cent.
