Yamaha launches new bike in Spain
Motorcycle insurance customers may be interested to know that motorbike giants Yamaha launched their latest offering, the V-Max in Madrid.
The chassis is constructed from aluminium to minimise the weight of the bike, which is roughly 215kg, according to Visor Down.
Yamaha's newest addition to its motorbike range features a 1679cc V4 65 degree engine which can rev up to 9000rpm and produce over 200bhp.
Those considering purchasing a V-Max should ensure they have bike insurance suitable for the powerful vehicle, which is expected to regain the title its 1984 predecessor held of fasted accelerating production motorbike.

Aside from its power, and despite its classic appearance, the bike boasts Yamaha's high tech features such as the Yamaha Chip Controlled Throttle and Induction.
It also comes with a hefty set of brakes, Bremo 6-pots, to ensure riders can control and stop the weighty machine.
Yamaha are only selling 1,500 units each year and will probably retail in Britain for under £16,000.
The V-Max is hoped to be able to go a quarter of a mile from standing in less than 10 seconds.
