Wirral bikers encouraged to take safety course
Motorcyclists in Wirral, Merseyside, have been invited to take part in the next BikeSafe course, which will take place over the weekend of June 14th and 15th, at Bromborugh Fire Station.
According to the Wirral Globe, the initiative will be run by the Merseyside police in conjunction with the Wirral council and Merseyside Fire and Rescue in an attempt to reduce the number of road accidents involving motorcyclists.
Riders can improve their knowledge, gain valuable experience and improve their confidence by passing a variety of courses aimed to make them safer road users. Those wishing to take part in the scheme can find more details on the BikeSafe.co.uk website.

BikeSafe is a nationwide initiative run by Police Forces and local authorities across the United Kingdom, and has the backing of the motorcycle industry. By passing on their skills, police motorcyclists hope to make other road users more competent motorcyclists.
Officers including those from the Cambridgeshire Constabulary, Durham, Essex, Lincolnshire, south Wales, west Midlands and the Metropolitan police are involved in the scheme, along with many others.
