New braking system announced for sport bikes
In what will prove good news for bikers and those looking for motorcycle insurance, Japanese firm Honda has announced that they have developed a new braking system specifically for sports bikes.
The old ABS brakes-system was not thought to be effective enough for the short wheelbase on sports vehicles, which caused the bikes to pitch when heavy braking was applied.
Honda's new "brake-by-wire" system has a groundbreaking stroke simulator, which the company says will encompass the advantages of combined brake systems and ABS systems.

This year has seen the release of Honda's new XL700V Transalp sports bike, which is powered by a fuel-injected V-twin engine for confident road cruising with plenty of power.
