North Yorkshire officials set to drop speed limit
Road authorities in North Yorkshire are to reduce the speed limit in the area in order to improve road safety across the region, a local news source has reported.
The Darlington and Stockton Times has stated that officials are to drop the limit outside a local primary school in Topcliffe, near Thirsk, from 30mph to 20mph.
It may be that drivers find that this causes fewer accidents in the area, which will help them keep their car or motorbike insurance no claims policies in tact.

Furthermore, cover firms may reduce the cost of bike insurance if they believe that the region presents less of a risk.
According to Lyn Chatwick, Topcliffe Primary School headteacher, the institution is behind the changes being made.
"Cars build up a head of speed as it's a straight stretch and we have children walking and cycling to school," said the official.
Meanwhile, the York Press has stated that police patrols are to take place close to St Lawrence's Primary School after parking problems were reported involving parents picking up their children after classes.
