Honda motorcycles to delight Dreamscape visitors
Motorcycle manufacturer Honda has announced that a range of its bikes will feature in the open air Live Action Arena - renamed "Dreamscape" - at the British Motor Show later this month.
There will be a series of performances showcasing some of the highlights of the firm's 60-year history, which will include motorbikes from past and present. A 1968 model of the best-selling motorbike in the world, the Cub 90, will make an appearance together with more modern vehicles such as Honda's new adventure bike, the Transalp. The area appropriated for the display is a 50 sq m tarmac arena, and has tiered seating for up to 2,500 motorbike enthusiasts.
Over 40 products will feature in the Dreamscape show, each having 20 minutes to perform as well as a ten-minute display period. In addition to motorbikes, ASIMO - Honda's humanoid robot - will be there to demonstrate its new-found ability to run. Bikers heading to ExCel should make sure that their vehicles have suitable bike insurance before they take to the road.
Earlier this week, motorcycle hotspot Llangollen was given the green light to host its own motorbike show, reports the Daily Post.
