TV presenter reduces carbon footprint with motorbike

TV presenter reduces carbon footprint with motorbike - motorbike insurance Television presenter Dominic Littlewood has sold his two cars in favour of a motorbike in a bid to reduce his carbon footprint and fuel consumption.

He replaced his Chevy SSR and Plymouth Prowler with a Yamaha MT-03, which has a 660cc four-stroke engine. The south-west London resident passed his test in April but owned smaller Yamahas such as theTY50 and FS1E while he was growing up. He commented: "I am getting more and more concerned about my carbon footprint so riding bikes is one of the ways I can put something back. "I am really looking forward to helping promote the benefits of motorcycling and getting out and about."

Littlewood was keen to express his enthusiasm for his latest purchase, stating that it is ideal for his needs as well as being a stylish ride. Despite being a self-confessed petrol-head he stated that he could no longer justify driving cars, adding that by swapping them for a motorbike, he could travel more efficiently and spend less on fuel.

Anyone swapping four wheels for two should ensure that they take out suitable motorbike insurance. In related news, Richard Jones of the Stereophonics recently purchased a Suzuki B-King, which he says has reduced his travel times dramatically.
