Suzuki unveils new Intruder
Suzuki GB has unveiled its latest cruiser motorcycle, the Intruder C1800RT, which may appeal to bike insurance customers.
The new bike includes a touring windshield, saddlebags, a backrest for a passenger, and pullback handlebars and floorboards.
According to the Japanese manufacturer, the C1800RT boasts the "mighty power" of the M1800R sports cruiser in the form of a "traditionally-styled" cruiser.
Only 90 bikes are being made available in the UK, priced at £10,000.
George Cheeseman from Suzuki GB said the M1800R has been a "huge success" since it was launched two years ago.
"While it offered exceptional power and styling, we have been missing a model designed for covering larger distances on, and so it's great to be able to offer the C1800RT in the UK," Mr Cheeseman commented.
"With its relaxed riding position and additional touring kit, it's the perfect cruiser to cover vast distances on in comfort," he added.
Earlier this month, Suzuki launched a limited edition GSRX-R1000 Team Rizla Suzuki Moto GP replica bike.
A must for racing fans, the GSRX-R1000 featured the team's colour scheme and Yoshimura Evo exhaust cans, while buyers also receive top yoke plaques that are individually-numbered.
