Bikers raise money for kidney charity

Members of a motorcycle club in Suffolk are riding to raise money for a kidney charity this year.

The Evening Star reports that Jan Goulding, 47, of Kesgrave, gave a kidney to her daughter Abigail, and the pair were given support by Climb.

Both are now set to join Abigail's father Ivan and bikers from the Triangle Motorcycle Club on their annual ride to raise money for the charity at the end of this month.

Mrs Goulding told the newspaper the family were "deeply touched" by the club's decision to support the charity.

"I am very excited about going on the bike ride. I thought I'd do it for a laugh and I'm quite interested in bikes anyway. Abigail is also looking forward to it," she commented.

The Triangle Motorcycle Club's charity secretary said when Abigail sat on a motorbike "the smile on her face was amazing".

According to the newspaper, the bikers will be travelling 50 miles on Sunday August 31st, bike insurance customers may be interested to know.

Climb aims to provide support to the thousands of families in the UK who are affected by metabolic diseases and to provide funding for research.
