Classic motorbike damaged in fire
A classic motorcycle has been damaged by fire in Winchester city centre, it has been reported.
The Hampshire Chronicle states that firefighters were called to a blaze on Wednesday September 3rd at 23:30 BST.
Police are now investigating the fire which damaged the BSA Shooting Star, which was parked in Fabers Yard, near Staple Gardens, the newspaper noted.
In related news, Hampshire police recently appealed to motorcyclists for information following the death of a local rider.

Terrence Angel, 45, was killed after his Suzuki Bandit motorbike collided with a Skoda Octavia in Eastleigh.
Police have appealed to bikers who may have witnessed the incident, according to the Chronicle.
Sergeant Phil Lamb, roads policing officer, said: "I am appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision or saw either of the vehicles prior to it.
"I am especially keen to speak to the driver and occupant of a red Audi estate car, a small blue hatchback and a small black hatchback which were all in the stationary traffic behind the crash scene."
Mr Angel suffered serious injuries as a result of the collision and was pronounced dead at the scene, the newspaper states.
