Police seek motorbike thieves
Police in Warwickshire are appealing for information after a motorbike was stolen in Nuneaton on August 31st.
In news which may prompt riders to check they have adequate motorbike insurance, the red Chituma bike is believed to have been taken from Hilton Avenue between 17:30 BST and 19:00 BST.
Having discovered that their bike was missing, the owner found it being ridden by a young man, who appeared to be accompanied by four other men, in a wooded area close to Queen Elizabeth Road park.
According to the police, the offender, who was described as being between 11 and 13 years of age, rode off with the stolen bike and has yet to be traced.
There have been a number of motorbike thefts in recent weeks, with the Lakeland Echo reporting that a mini moto was stolen from a home in Morecambe at some point between August 31st and September 3rd.
It is believed that the thief scaled a garden fence and climbed onto a garage before stealing the vehicle from a shed at a house on Lawnswood Drive, Westgate.
Police are appealing for anyone who may have seen someone with the motorbike between these dates to come forward.
