Harley-Davidson dealer wins award
Motorbike insurance customers seeking to add to their collection of motorcycles may be tempted by a new offer from Honda.
The Japanese manufacturer is making its 2008 CBR1000RR Fireblade available to customers for less than £200 a month as part of its Honda Finance promotion.
Honda's Fireblade is already gaining a reputation as a top sports bike, winning both the Suzuka eight-hour endurance race and British and World Superbike races.
It was also named Sports Bike of the Year by Fast Bikes magazine and was Motor Cycle News' top pick in its litre sports bike category.
Dealers will be offering the Fireblade for zero per cent finance over 42 months with a deposit of ten per cent, while those able to put down a larger deposit are eligible for lower monthly payments.
Honda recently unveiled its 2009 CBR600RR - a model which first made an appearance in 2003.
"For 2009, the goal for Honda's development team has once again been to enhance a machine capable of fast, intense track riding while also delivering a controllable, easy-going road-riding experience," the firm said.
The new bike features a new piston, cylinder head and exhaust system to produce high levels of torque, motorbike insurance customers may be interested to know.
