Yamaha extends bike finance deal
Motorbike fans may find it harder to resist a new Yamaha model now the manufacturer has extended the run time of its current finance offer.
Yamaha dealers are currently offering bikers an offer dubbed More to Play With, which means they can benefit from three and a half years of interest free credit on YZF-R1/R6, FZ-Series, XJR1300, XVS1300A and XV1900 cruisers.
Enthusiasts also have the option to pick up one of the "street cool" MT-03s under the scheme, which Yamaha has chosen to continue until December 1st.
As well as extending the scheme, the motorcycle giant has chosen to increase the number of models on offer, which could be of interest to motorcycle insurance customers.
"These additional models are the new for 2008 WR250R and WR250X, touring kings the FJR1300A and AS and the timeless TDM900 and TDM900ABS," it explained.
Earlier this year, Yamaha called for would-be bikers to take lessons and pick up a licence sooner rather than later because from October, new European laws could make obtaining one harder.
It asserted the cost of learning will rise and there will be fewer centres in the UK where people can learn to ride bikes - meaning longer waiting lists.
