Honda unveils limited edition Fireblade
Honda has announced the launch of a new limited edition yellow CBR1000RR Fireblade to celebrate Steve Brogan's British Superstock Championship win.
Riding for the HM Plant Honda team, Brogan won the event at Silverstone, before unveiling the bike during a parade lap around the famous circuit.
Honda is making 100 of the special edition bikes available, each of which will feature Brogan's signature.
The rider said he was "honoured" by Honda's decision to launch a limited edition version of the bike in recognition of his championship win.
Steve Martindale, general manager of Honda Motorcycles UK, said: "Producing a limited edition winning yellow 'Blade was a great way to celebrate Steve's and the HM Plant Honda team's achievement, as well as provide our customers with a great new coloured Fireblade, which we know they desire."
Motorcycle insurance customers considering purchasing a new bike will be able to get their hands on the new Fireblade from Honda Motorcycle dealers, priced at £9,321.
In related news, Valentino won his sixth MotoGP title at the weekend during the A-Style Grand Prix of Japan.
The Italian took to podium wearing a t-shirt which said "Sorry for the delay" in his native tongue, MotoGP.com reports.
