Honda urges riders to brave the elements
Motorcyclists who continue to ride their bikes throughout the winter months can stay warm and keep their gear dry with the help of Honda.
It is offering a free top-box and heated grips with four of its new machines, motorbike insurance customers might be interested to hear.
The deal is available on the VFR800 VTEC sports-tourer, NT700V Deauville tourer, XL1000V Varadero adventure and the XL700VA Transalp adventure bike.
Honda says each of the motorbikes are "perfect" for motorcycling in all weather conditions and the 45-litre colour matched top box and 360-degree heated grips are the "perfect combination" for riding through the winter.
The "dependable" VFR has been part of the Honda range since 1998 and is available from £7,291, or £8,721 with ABS.
Also celebrating its tenth birthday is the NT700V Deauville, which Honda describes reliable and rugged, and comes with panniers as standard.
The V-twin XL 100V Varadero allows motorcyclists to ride for miles in comfort, while the new 2008 version of the XL700VA Transalp is trusted and exciting, Honda adds.
Honda's CBR600RR was crowned World Supersport champion for the seventh consecutive year this month.
The Ten Kate Honda team with rider Andrew Pitt took the title in Magny-Cours last weekend.
