Suzuki unveil new bandit in Milan

Riders looking for a stylish new motor were treated to their first glimpse of the latest Suzuki Bandit 650 models at the Milan Show this week.

The manufacturer unveiled stylish new updates to both the standard 650 and 650SA that it claimed "changed the face" of the original Bandit.

Sleeker modern headlights and a black engine finish as well as newly styled mirrors and muffler ends bring the 650 up to date and create a smart appearance alongside proven reliability.

The Bandit 650SA also offers improved protection for bike insurance customers who are out in all weathers and added aerodynamic efficiency.

Storage bays have also been installed on both sides of the vehicle, adding practicality to a comfortable and stylish ride.

Commenting on the launch, Suzuki GB's George Cheeseman said: "The Bandit 650 range is very popular for us in the UK and so we welcome the news of updated versions for 2009."

He added that the new models would soon be on show to British bike insurance customers as they prepare for their debut at the NEC Motorcycle Show later this month.

The new BMW Motorrad F 800 was also revealed at the show in Milan, meaning buyers could be spoilt for choice as they search for a sporty new model.
