Lucky rider nets brand-new Suzuki bike
Renowned motorcycle manufacturer Suzuki has announced the winner of a year-long competition to win a brand-new GSX-R600 machine.
Justian Gray, from York, has been handed the vehicle after entering the draw at the Motorcycle News event in Skegness back in October of this year.
Mr Gray is already a keen rider, although he admitted that he had initially refused to believe it was true when he was told he had won the prize over the phone.
He also received complimentary tickets to the recent International Motorcycle and Scooter Show in Birmingham as part of his prize, where he revealed his delight at the win.
"I think I'm over the shock now! It's been great, and I've even been able to choose the colour I wanted. I just can't wait to take delivery from York Suzuki now," he commented.
Despite his excitement, Mr Gray is likely to need no reminding of the importance of taking out motorcycle insurance on his new asset.
Indeed, another Suzuki owner in Hook, Hampshire, is currently facing the prospect of a claim after her £3,400 GSXR superbike was stolen from a garage.
The bike was up for sale, and the thief posed as a prospective buyer before starting up the engine and riding off.
