Bike events 2016

1st January - New Year's Day rides

Be sure to catch a local meet by you for a new year's ride out. Many clubs meet up so this is a good opportunity to get out on your bike in the New Year and also meet some other bikers near you.

9th/10th January - The Carole Nash Classic bike guide winter classic in Nottinghamshire.

This event allows bikers to stock up ahead of the new biking season. Bikers can buy spare parts, tools accessories, clothing and memorabilia.

23rd/24th January - Springfield's Motorbike show in Lincolnshire.

This event has a motorcycle exhibition displaying new bikes, you can buy new equipment, meet biking clubs and see celebrity appearances.

6th/7th February - The Bristol Classic Bike Show in Somerset.

The 36th Carole Nash classic bike show heads to The Royal Bath and West showground in Somerset. You can find local motorcycle clubs, exhibitions and a classic auction on the Sunday.

12th-14th February - MCN London Motorcycle Show at Excel London.

An action packed event with stands, exhibitions, shops and leading manufacturers on hand displaying new bikes.

20th/21st February - The Classic Dirt bike show in Shropshire.

This event is a great event to attend for any off road enthusiast. With celebrity appearances, action packed shows, it's a great day out.

12th/13th March - The Carole Nash MCN Scottish Motorcycle Show at Edinburgh's royal highland centre.

Scotland's biggest motorcycle show. Major bike manufacturers will be displaying new models for 2016 with exclusive deals and offers, trade stands for biking gear, biking accessories and spare parts.

2nd/3rd April - The Manchester Bike Show at Event City in Trafford.

Be sure to attend the number one event for the North, the only indoor bike show in the north of England. Over 1000 bikes on display, various stands, shopping outlet and action packed stages with celebrity appearances.

15th-18th April - MCN Live Skegness at Butlin's Skegness.

MCN are taking over Butlin's Skegness for a whole weekend. MCN bring their huge show filled with riding activities, stunt shows and shopping bargains, all in one venue. Definitely a highlight in the biking calendar.

30th April-2nd May - The MCE insurance British Superbike championship at Oulton Park, Cheshire.

Join the crowds and watch bikers as they gather from all nations to win the championship.

2nd May - Bike 1066, Hastings May Day Run in Hastings.

Visit Hastings and gather for this event where thousands of bikers get together to celebrate the biggest motorcycle festival in Britain. You can find over 50 exhibitors and live British superbike coverage, a great day out for all ages.

27th-30th May - The No Bull just Beer bike show.

This is an all weekend event with camping, live bands, trike and bike show, prizes to be won and much more. This event is certainly packed with fun with even a 100ft waterslide. Definitely one to mark up on the calendar.

June is not a very big month for biking in the UK however be sure not to miss coverage of the MotoGP Grand Prix as towards the end of June there will be a crucial halfway race held in the Netherlands at the TT Assen venue.

8th-10th July - The MCE insurance British Superbike Championships returns again, this time to Snetterton circuit in Norfolk.

5th -7th August - The MCE insurance British Superbike Championships return again, this time to Brands Hatch circuit in Kent.

27th-29th August - The MCE insurance British Superbike Championships return again, this time at Cadwell Park Circuit in Lincolnshire.
